Welcome to Chiang Rai

**        Chiang Rai, the northernmost province of Thailand is about 785 kilometers north of
Bangkok. Situated on the Kok River basin, Chiang Rai covers an area of approximately
11,678 square meters with an average elevation of 580 meters above sea level. The
province,which is located within the renowned Golden Triangle area where Myanmar,Laos

and Thailand converge, is also known asthe gateway to Myanmar, Laos and Southern

China.

Today, Chiang Rai is a traveler’s paradise endowed with abundant natural
tourist attractions and antiquities. Attractions range from magnificent mountain scenery,
ruins of ancient settlements, historic sites, Buddhist shrinesand ethnic villages as the
province is also home to several hill tribes who maintain fascinating lifestyles.

Day 1

Morning Section: Transfer In, King meng Rai Monument and Aob Kham museum

Lunch: Buffet at Hotel in Chiang Rai Town or same standard restaurant

Afternoon Section: Doi Tung Royal villa and Garden  and Burmese Border and over
night at Piyaporn Place

Dinner: served as Set menu  at the hotel

Day 2

Morning Section: Tour of Myanmar by local taxi, the golden triangle and opium hall

Lunch: The golden triangle area.

Afternoon Section: Maekong River cruise to Laos Souvenir Market and see the great
view of Golden Triangle, Teak Craving temple , Chiang Khong and over night

at the golden triangle area

Day 3

Morning Section: Visit local Market at Chiang Sean old city and drive to Doi

Maesalong.

Lunch: at Doi Maesalong (Chinese Yunan Food)

Afternoon Section: Doi Maesalong Tour, Chinese village and Tea Plantation

Day 4

Morning Section: White Temple or Wat Rang Koon and transfer out

Afternoon Section: Chiang Rai local market tour,buys ingredient for cooking class in
the next day.

Day 5
Morning Section: Cooking Class at the local House People
Afternoon Section: Transfer Out
